True crime is my favorite genre of documentary but any genre is fine as long as it’s truly unique, weird, and/or bizarre. Some quick examples: Tiger King, Tickled, The Imposter, The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia, Crumb. Give me your best docuseries / documentary recommendations.

So, basically, a good and actual funny dark comedy/drama or dark comedy/crime is what I’m looking for. I'm just not looking for a sitcom. I really like it when a comedy series isn’t 100% comedy but also nicely and equally balanced with a different, somewhat serious genre.

Preferably nothing older than the 2000s. Some of my personal favorites are Annihilation, Possessor, 28 days/years later, Under the Skin, A Quiet Place, and The Mist.
