My confidence has been low for a few months now and I don’t know how to get it back. I think people would say I am a fun and bubbly person, but lately I feel so frumpy and lame and unattractive. I’m unsure of myself and anything I have to say.

I guess I’m asking for advice on how to increase confidence. Even just small little things that add up. What helps you get out of the hole?

This feels like a question I already know the answer to, but does anyone have suggestions for places to go camping in June that won’t be absolutely miserable with bugs? I have friends down state who are coming up to go camping, and June 12th is the only weekend that works. Maybe spots closer to Lake Superior?

Right now in the United States, it seems like anyone who isn’t a straight white man is having their rights or security infringed on in one way or another. We are definitely backsliding. While on a long drive yesterday a thought crossed my mind: are there other historic examples of a certain group gaining and then later losing rights?
