My elderly parents are downsizing into this oddly shaped apartment living room/kitchen area and I’m struggling to figure out the best furniture placement.
They use walkers, so clear walking paths and accessibility are the top priority. We are trying to fit:
Medical lift recliner
Reclining chair
Wall-mounted TV
Bookshelves/storage/places for their Knick Knacks
2 small accent chairs for guests (if possible)
The room has very high ceilings but limited wall space because of windows, kitchen layout, closet placement, and weird angles.
Would love layout suggestions, furniture placement ideas, storage ideas, or anything I may not be considering. Thank you!
