Bird Fern - plant care advice needed

I have this beautiful Boston fern (Medusa). I am in WI and got it in EARLY spring/late winter. It’s the first time I made a space inside and was able to help the plant thrive indoors until it was ready to go outside. Im hoping I can bring it inside for the winter and keep alive until next year.

Well she’s so lovely, birds found her. This is hanging right next to my front door, but with eggs already laid for sure I’m not moving the nest.

My questions to this community is..

  1. What do I do after the eggs are gone and remove the nest? Is there a solution to spray on leaves/soil to eliminate bugs/pests before bringing inside? Ideally I’d do this in a few weeks once the birds are gone early in the year.
  2. Other than sequestering - Any steps to take before bringing her in in the winter?

3 Repotting - I can barely touch soil even now in this plant and the roots are crazy. When do I know to repot it and is there a best time?

Thank you all! #birdfern

A complete Aldi meal

Everything from Aldi - I had the fried pickle dip, my husband had hummus. Great lunch on a day full of yard work lol
My sandwich had salami, turkey, mayo, lettuce, banana peppers, red onion.
My husband had pepperoni, turkey, salami, butter, mild cheddar.
Both used honey wheat bread, shared a Fuji apple since they were out of honey crisp.

Aldi Greek Chick Peas review

Chickpeas, cucumber, red onion, tomato, feta.

The chickpeas are SUPER flavorful.

The texture looks weird in the photo and in person but once you mix it up it’s the same as any other canned chick peas.

I only had to add a little oil, red wine vinegar, and herbs to balance it out.

I would use these on any salad, could add in orzo or Kalamata olives. I would eat these heated up on the side with some salmon.. I almost want to blend them into a hummus maybe? I think they’re good and versatile and a great way to add beans into your diet.

I give them a 10/10
