Looking for Tips on Insertion and Products

Hello! I'm a long time menstrual cup wearer who has been trying to switch to discs for the better part of a year now. Every time I try a disc, I'm leaking almost immediately. Almost like the disc is just causing a blockage and the blood has to leak a around it and it's not actually catching anything.

I currently have only tried the smaller pixie and the regular size pixie disc. The smaller pixie seemed to work a little better - however, it would still leak a lot. I thought it was because it was too small, so I switched to the bigger one and still had constantly leaking (also I've never really felt as if it would open up).

I thought then perhaps it was the way I was inserting the disc, so I bought an applicator. Even with the applicator, I still couldn't get the disc to insert correctly, and fully open up to stop blood from coming out.

I know some people just can't wear discs, because of their shape. However, I've never had any problems inserting tampons/cups even from a young age. Also, my doctor has never said anything about my cervix being tilted or anything.

I'm wondering if there are any tips or tricks that anyone can share. A lot of the videos I've watched just show the same thing and is not very helpful.

Also, I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this same problem with the pixie brand discs, but found another brand that worked for them. I'm kind of tired of spending money on products that don't work for me, but I'm open to trying a few more things before I give up completely.

Thank you!
