M54B30 Ticking
Any idea what this is? I’m kind of swaying away from lifters because the noise stays constantly with RPMs even when you get it up to redline. Volume doesn’t increase but frequency does with revs. Definitely not rod knock - oil is clean and the car pulls hard. Has driven 20k with this noise according to previous owner. 🤷♂️
