Update from my last post after testing pretty much everything I could think of:

• Tried the controller wired → same issue
• Tried a different power adapter (no fast charge) → no change
• Tried a different HDMI cable → still there
• Tested multiple setups → input lag is always present on TV

At this point I’m pretty convinced the issue is coming from the official Retroid dock itself.

What’s weird is:

• In handheld mode → 0 lag
• Using the same controller (2.4GHz dongle) on handheld or gaming PC → 0 lag
• As soon as I go through the dock → noticeable delay

So yeah… I think I’m done with the official dock. Pretty disappointing honestly. and I’m planning to buy another dock instead.

so what dock are you using with your Retroid Pocket G2 ?and which controller do you use with it?

I'm trying to play on my TV using my Retroid Pocket G2 with the official Retroid dock (fast charging wall plug + HDMI 2.1 cable), and I'm running into a pretty noticeable input lag.

My setup:

• Retroid Pocket G2
• Official Retroid dock (using fast charging)
• HDMI 2.1 cable
• 8BitDo Ultimate 2 (Switch version) connected in 2.4GHz mode with the USB dongle

The issue:
There’s a clear delay between my inputs and what happens on screen. It makes fast-paced games really hard to play.

What I’ve tried so far:

• Switching controller modes
• Replugging everything
• Testing at different distances

Still getting the same latency 😕

Has anyone experienced this kind of setup issue before?
Is it coming from the dock, the controller, or maybe the TV?

Can you help me ?
