I pressed something or did some type of motion and it made my screen be just a clock with a generic background but then I clicked off it, how did I do that it was kind of nice for short drives?

Going today to look and most likely buy a 24 gt plus fully loaded with 13k miles. What should I keep an eye/ear out for when taking it for a test drive and cosmetically?
