Do wildflower bouquets last less time?
Hi florists! I had a question regarding “wildflower style” bouquets. I have a favorite shoppe that does gorgeous arrangements and my husband and family like to gift me bouquets periodically. The only problem is I can never get them to last that long. My sister sent me an arrangement on Saturday (I received it in the afternoon) and by this morning part of them are looking half on their way out. I didn’t trim them yesterday as I’ve been not well so maybe that didn’t help? I typically wait 1-2 days to trim them the 1st time.
Is the bouquet life for wildflowers just shorter or do I need to be doing a fresh cut daily? Also, I’ve had this issue with no sun and some sun hitting the arrangement. I typically spritz with water and normally do a trim every other day. I also do the water elixir they recommend when I give a fresh cut.
Any tips would be helpful because I simply adore their bouquets however they’re not cheap and I don’t love (especially my husband) spending a huge amount for something that lasts 2/3 days. 😩
