i love boba but it’s at the point it’s too much. has anyone found it crazy that so many boba shops/cafes opened between 2024-2026? same concept and taste, and it’s price point is $7 per cup. plus the restaurants that sell the same thing and interior is modern and sad. and i can’t forget about the tawa plaza, ughhhh! it makes me miss when people would just run mom and pop shops with personality. but i understand that this is what people want and rent is high. so ive been going to og spots here and there because i fear they will close down.

Hello everyone, I'm looking for this specific dish. It's basically Chinese/Vietnamese fried corn kernels. I had this dish 10+ years ago in my Chinese hometown. i remember it tastes like street food, hot, crispy, and salty in a good way. i am willing to go to LA or oc for this dish, thank you!
