Completely new to reel to reel, just loaded my first reel and played it through an amp. But I noticed the right hand side reel was squeaking badly, and when I twisted the (spindle?) it seems to be the problem. I figured taking it off and applying a bit of oil would help lubricate it but when I pull at it, feels like I may break something.

This is an Akai X-5000W works beautifully, has a squeaky problem
