Volvo Walnut Creek Issue
Purchased a 2023 XC40 Recharge Twin Ultimate from Walnut Creek around end of March. I had a great deal on the car and it was CPO. First thing I did was to go to an Apple store to purchase a cable for CarPlay. Cable didn't work and I sent the car in for service. The mechanic opened up the system and told us there were coffee stains on the USB-C Port Hub, and quoted me for ~$1k as it was considered wear and tear.
I have emailed and called Walnut Creek of Volvo for help, but they almost never pick up calls after the purchase, and always told me "I'll call you back when we come up with a solution" if they did pick up. Contacted Volvo USA as well for help, but they never responded.
Love the car and the way it handles. Especially with the gas prices in California at the moment, an EV is truly a blessing. Just pretty disappointed with how dealership handles these problems. Can't really straight up say "Avoid XXX dealership" because I assume all car dealerships try to screw you over. Any ideas how I can proceed with this?
