I run a small ClickUp consultancy (UpSys) and I also build the ClickUp to Sheets add-on (some of you have seen it in the Workspace marketplace, around 20k installs, 4.8 stars).
Until last week the fastest refresh was every 3 hours on a schedule. Fine for most stuff, painful for client dashboards.
Just shipped live sync. It's probably been the most requested feature.
A change in a task shows up in the linked sheet in about 5 seconds. Works for list syncs and view syncs. If you have a chart or dashboard reading from that sheet, it updates live too.
The thing I actually built it for: external stakeholders that need real time reports, export, etc.
We share them a Google Sheet dashboard instead.
Honest caveats:
- One-way for now. ClickUp to Sheets. Two-way live is on the roadmap, no date promise.
- Lives on the Business plan ($39/mo, 7-day free trial, no card).
