Lease ending soon on my 2024 Air Pure had some unfortunate last minute damages

Hey guys long story short my car's lease is ending in like 2 months.

At the beginning of this month a family member accidentally bumped into my rear.

It left some scrapes on the bumper and a crack on the tail light.

In an effort to not screw up insurance premiums we are not going through insurance and they're gonna cover the cost of repairs.

In an effort to avoid and minimize the exorbitant amount of money they would have to pay at a lucid service center I took it to a body shop to see what can be done.

They were able to touch up the bumper but it sounds like since they're not a lucid certified center we're not gonna have any luck on the tail light.

However when the guy from the shop called me to let me know about the situation he told me it looked like the car had had damages from another incident. I'm not 100% sure if I understood him correctly but he said they determined this because they found there was a discrepancy in the paint color of the bumper and the rest of the car? I was baffled, I reiterated this car was a new lease when I got it and he told me he was aware.

So truly the only possibility I can think of if what he is telling is true is that Lucid recycled parts from previous years and put them in "new" cars and the shade of the color varied slightly depending on the year of the model.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this matter?

Also am I just gonna have to take it a lucid certified shop and eat the cost of replacing/repairing the tail light bar?

I am sort out some details regarding lease end to decide what I am gonna do (purchase car as is at significantly cheaper vs eat the cost of repairs, vs get a new lease for an air GT) and plan to post an update about my experience. I prefer to not post pics of the damage at this time, but can do it during an update post.
