I set a takeout container on the trunk a exile back and got some rice porridge on it. Now this stain refuses to come off. It feels flush to the touch and I can't get it off even after multiple washes. Would a clay bar help? Or would I have to push and repaint this shit?

Now that there's no more rain on the horizon I'll be washing it on Friday.
I purchased a lightly used bike rack for a good price, but it's got a 1.25in fitting so i purchased an adapter which on it's own isn't a big deal but i have an 10in extender to clear the spare and there's a little bit of play both at the hitch end and the joint where the extender meets the rack. There's probably 3-4in of horizontal movement, vertical movement isn't as bad due to the weight. I don't think the rack will fall out but with that much wobble and weight so far back i'm a little scared I'll damage something?
My wife's 18yo little brother will be heading to college in September. His parents are selling their family home to move across the country to be closer to us and their grandson so little bro won't be able to continue driving his dad's EV. My in-laws tasked me to help suggest a gas car for roughly 35k Canadian. The kid wants something slightly sporty so he turned down their civic/corolla suggestion. I'm thinking used IS300 or used acura TLX. Maybe elantra N? WRX? Any other suggestions?
