Milk and soy allergy 14 month old
Hello all! I am wondering if what I have experienced is something you all have experienced.
Basically when we introduced formula to my baby (we started with Bobby’s) she would have green poop and would reject it constantly and wouldn’t take it. We tried other formulas but for some reason my baby settled for enfimil gentle ease. When her one month birthday came up I tried to slowly get her off formula and tried whole milk. She became SO constipated, wouldn’t poop for 3 days and would scream cry to get it out.
Our pediatrician recommended ripple kids. Now I am new to soy allergies but since we have been trying to get her on that to try, even trying to mix some with formula to get her to like the taste, my baby has had nothing but green diarrhea. I am going to reach out to her pediatrician but I am concerned this could be another allergy, or maybe even we didn’t have the milk allergy to begin with.
I know milk isn’t nutricianally required but it does worry me since my daughter is still even bad with solids.
Do you all have any other alternatives you recommend and are my daughter’s symptoms similar to any of you all? I am going to request allergy testing to see. I really want to get my daughter off formula too, but I know it’s the only thing she will take.
