Hello. I posted earlier about there are 2 animation issues that the motorola Razr Fold 2026 has, and I specified that it was when using instagram, and the 2nd stutter is that it drops from 120 hz to 60 hz while its under sunlight or while charging for like a second when opening/closing any app.

I have been able to record couple of videos that shows the animation cut that happens usually when opening/closing apps, but I could catch it when closing the apps in the screen recorder, so these animation cuts happens on both opening/closing however in these videos that I uploaded its happening only when closing some apps.

The apps I recorded are Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, Firefox, Threads. Each video represents 1 app opening/closing animation.

1. Reddit: You can clearly see the animation cut that happens when closing the app, its not consistently zooming out smoothly, it started smoothly zooming out but then rushed to the center of the screen then continued zooming out smoothly.

2. Twitter: It opened smoothly as u can see in the video, however when closing the app, the animation started out to close smoothly at the beginning but then it rushed to the center of the screen then continued to smoothly zoom out.

3. Firefox: Same as Reddit and Twitter, opened smoothly but when closing the app it rushed to the center then zoomed out smoothly.

4. Facebook: Opened Smoothly and closed smoothly.

5. Threads: Opened Smoothly and closed Smoothly.

As I said guys, the animation cut(rush to center) happens on opening and closing animations, but I only could catch it when closing the apps at the time of recording. Plus the other animation stutter that happens when cpu is under load or warm phone due to sun light or charging, the screen feels like it dropped to 60 hz while u r doing ur thing, could be opening/closing apps or scrolling etc.. u can see it in ur eyes that it is 60 hz not 120 hz for 1s.

So in total there are 2 main animation issues that needs a software fix from the developers and it must be taken seriously if u care about your software reputation among foldables.

Hey guys, my razr fold that i got couple of days ago, is having some stuttering when I am using the gesture navigation, for example when i swipe up from bottom of the screen to go home, and when i open apps sometimes too.

You can see in the video that 8 of 9 apps had stutter animation when i wanted to swipe up to go back to home, and instagram has animation stutter when i am opening it most of the time.

I tested to go back to 3 button navigation bar and there is no stutter when i am swiping up to go home, but there is stutter when I am opening apps.

I am running Android 16 version. Its unacceptable that people buy phones for min 1800 usd and up to 2500 usd (fifa version) and we still have software issues and bugs. This is considered a flagship, I have s26 ultra and its buttery smooth with no stutters at all.

I am not saying the phone is bad but it could be much better and if u have a budget for 1 phone only then go for samsung/apple if u want to be satisfied in all aspects, unless we get motorola to fix these issues and starts caring about customers.

This thing is impressive! Super fast charging similar to my s26 ultra, as well as the inner screen looks so smooth and nice. I didnt test cameras yer but this phone is sooooo nice and worth it.
