I am moving from Colorado to South Carolina this summer. We are looking for a town that has several restaurant options, and i can feel safe walking down the street as a girl in my mid 20s. I understand that may be a big request, but I am not trying to move to the ghetto, we made that mistake when we first moved to Denver lol. I was thinking somewhere within an hour of the coast, maybe Beaufort or Ridgeland area. I definitely am tired of the city life and ready for a much slower pace, BUT i still need all my shopping and food options within a 20 minute drive. Please give me any advice on any areas surrounding Beaufort, Ridgeland, or Yemassee.
