Obviously I have always been autistic, I didn't catch it off someone. Anyway... before I was aware, life was alot easier, I was able to carry out my life 'normally' like most others. Yeah I still struggled but I got on with it.

Now though, after understanding myself more and coming to terms with the fact I am indeed different, life has got so so much harder. Why? I coped before. Why not now..? Why do I have to fight every day just to get through it? I'm happier now than I used to be but I struggle much more than ever

I buy alot on vinted, hundreds of items a week usually. I guess I have probably 7 parcels a week go missing which is alot but compared to the volume I buy it's not so bad. Every single lost parcel has been lost or misdelivered by Evri, sometimes it can take over a month to get your refund. I currently have over £200 lost on 9 suspended orders. I used to enjoy vinted but recently not so much.

Poured my first copper bar today, I used old wire and it seemed to take forever to melt in my electric furnace. I've never melted copper before so was interested in giving it a go. Any tips on how to improve the finish? I poured at 1100c into a hot graphite mould under a mapp gas flame.

Unrelated to anything but I feel sad alot due to the people I see around the place everyday.

Life is full of undiagnosed people, most of whom don't even know they are on the spectrum yet, if they ever will, who knows. Pay attention, look around you.

Saddens me alot, I used to be like that. Like them. Blissfuly unaware. Maybe they're lucky.. even if they are struggling inside.

I miss the old me, I'm sure I'm not alone.

I've learnt to be a lot nicer to people, alot more forgiving.

OK so no pics unfortunately but this is the problem. I am using a custom design graphite mould, open pour. Casting with 925. I am having trouble with trapped air and getting the design to cast fully, could I drill some 0.5mm holes in the design through the base of the mould so the air will escape? Would the silver flow much into these small holes?

Ok so i have started having a play around with some 925 and made these. I use a toauto 1800w electric furnace, a mapp gas torch on the graphite mould and pour under the flame, any tips to get a better finish than this?
