If the sequel has to live up to the original (or surpass it) I wonder how Escape from L.A. ended up happening haha. Maybe that was the movie that made him draw the line!

I don't know, something tells me Mike Flanagan will know how to handle himself after all his Stephen King adaptations.

Dang, would much rather have gotten another one of these movies than Hot Frosty or whatever other rom-coms they make. I guess it did feel like a surprise that we got the second one so fast after the original, wonder if they just cost too much to make? Felt like they were popular!

Honestly kind of surprised he's started recording any of it this far in advance? I remember people from the last movies saying they were recording lines only a few weeks in advance, but I guess this one has also been in the works since 2024.

Gotta love how often his and John's responses are "there isn't an answer!" but people keep trying to find one

I wonder how tired he gets of hearing about a new Escape from New York? By my count, this is the fourth attempt in the last 15ish years, and even with Robert Rodriguez, Leigh Whannell, or the Ready or Not guys attached, none of it works. Really think that, if they were going to try to tell another story in this world, there's so many ways to do it without Snake Plissken, especially knowing that no one could ever be as good as Snake.
