Hoya help please
Everybody here needs help, and I'm working on it. Yay crawling out of depression...
Most desperate/immediate need is the hoya due to shelf instability. In last few months the growth has taken off like crazy from a single vine that is now splitting into several.. I started training it up the rickety shelf, but that needs to stop (i didnt expext it to take off so much. Have had it for 10 years and until last 8 months it only had like 5 leaves....). The shelf is not long for this world.
What would you do? Cut the vine into segments and put cuttings into pot (use same overhead strip growlights)? Untangle it and put a trellis in pot to train it up that (on a better shelf with spotlight grow light)? Rig up a hanging pot (with spotlight growlight), wind it around itself and let the trailers trail?
The vine is probably more than 6 feet long at this point and has split at the top into two independent snakes.
