2026 RZ with less than 1300 mile says the 40727 miles since last update

Has anyone seen this in their new 2026 RZ 450e premium? How is this possible and why do I see this?

2025 RZ450e Premium - Regen Breaking is activating intermittently

Has any one have issues or noticed when you start the car and drive, when you take your foot off the padel the regen kicks in when the car starts to slow even you don't have it activated. It starts in slow speeds. I can feel it and it then releases when the car is less than 5mph.

Is it mine or has anyone experienced it?

So, I had completed 20 days with this amazing vehicle and had driven over 1000 miles (mostly short trips but have done 1 300 mile trip).

So far the car is an amazing vehicle. I have learnt a lot of tips and tricks using AI and YouTube videos. I figured I'll share some of the querks, tips, tricks and issues.

The Regen breaks at times don't stick. I find it when I drive without turning it on, it still confuses and thinks its enabled but at times corrects itself or I had to manually engage and disengage it. The quick return and emergency stop feature with Regen paddles are a good trick.

It still confuses the driver profile when me or my wife gets in the car. I have setup both of us with face IDs. It took me a while to learn that I had to calibrate the power seats to stick to driver profile from another Redit post. At times, the car still loads the last driven driver profile if we both get in the car (even with faceID).

The parking assist is a hit or miss. I have tested this in multiple places and it gets very confused most of the time. When I tell it to forward park, it had tried to reverse park and at times, it just heads towards a parked car. It likes to find spots between parked spots and does not like open lots. I still cant get it to remember frequently parked spots. It still wont register my garage even though its speacious and has room to maneuver. Getting out of Parking spot is fine but its almost a useles feature.

The adaptive cruise is great. Also the HOLD mode in sit and go traffice is awesome. The Traffic Jam assist is a great feature which I had used and finally able to trust it wont crash into the front car.

I have setup the digital key and have tried the guest driver mode. Its nothing but a notification when your guest drives out of what they are assigned to drive. Wish there is a way to limit the speed and features but that's not possible or I haven't figure it out yet.

Drive customization is a good feature. You can minutely control some drive features by going to custom mode. I also picked the Range mode features which locks the direct4 AWD systems to 50:50 split power mode makes the car more planted and heavy. You have to manually turn on AC/heating in this option which is not that big of a hassle. The drive is more comfortable.

I also tried not warming up the whole cabin but turn on the seats and the radiant heater on so it feels like a blanket instead of wasting energy heating the whole interior of the car. Works well if the temprature is around lower 60s and not so cold.

The intelligent assist at times are not intelligent It can only do basic things. I prefer to use my Android Auto to use handsfree calls and other tasks.

I will continue to test out all the features and will provide periodic updats as I learn new things. Hope this helps. Please feel free to ask me anything and happy to elaborate any of the things I had mentioned above.
