Took my new Player II Jazzmaster in to install Bensonite bridge, locking classic tuners and Descendant trem and for a setup w those mods in place. When I picked it up, the tech was down on the tuners, saying he saw them move/turn when bending a string. The bridge was almost slammed to the pickguard (still moves somewhat) and the saddle intonation adjustments were maxed out on several saddles. took it home and the G string will absolutely not stay in tune - going out (high) after a couple of strums. My guess is that everything is taking a hit due to attempt to set a low action without a shim. Weirdly, the original bridge was at a typical height and the action seemed fine.

Any suggestions on best way to proceed?
