Years of avoiding seed oils. Blood test results.

I've intentionally avoided seed oils for years and prioritize animal fats as much as possible. I do eat a lot of eggs and sardines which can have higher amounts of omega 6 fats, so I wanted to get my blood checked.

Omega 3s:

EPA Reference range 0.2-2.3%

Mine came back at 3.5%

DHA Reference range 1.4-5.1%

Mine came back at 5.1%

DPA Reference range 0.8-1.8%

Mine came back at 2.3%

So all my omega 3s came back very high, which I was happy about.

Now Linoleic Acid, the enemy lol..

Reference range was 18.6-29.5% and mine came back low at 16.9%

So I was very happy to see low levels of Linoleic and high levels of omega 3s. Looks like the diet is working.

I went with a very magic heavy party throughout the game, which I enjoyed.. Everyone is level 50 or higher.

Party:

Mage->Sage->Monster Wrangler

Priest->Gadabout->Sage

Thief->Monk->Sage

I use my Hero for healing, and I use my other 3 party members for blasting Xenlon with Kafrizz.

I have no problem defeating him even on Draconian mode, but it takes me like 50 turns.. The kafrizz spells do like 200 damage each, which is not much.. But everyone knows healing spells and has very high MP, so healing isn't an issue.

Most of the game I fought this way. Lower overall damage, but lots of healing. So I was always able to defeat the bosses, but it was just time consuming. I don't have any big damage dealers.

Any advice? Do I have to change jobs to a Warrior and just grind more?

DQ3 post game. I've been grinding on slime island for the last few nights. My son loves watching me play and he gets so excited when 8 liquid metal slimes spawn.

This series is great, and I've loved introducing him to the combat mechanics. I love that he's getting excited.

He was getting teased by his older brothers earlier today, and I was in his room comforting him, and he just says to me, "Dad, can we go to slime island?"

Almost brought a tear to my eye.
