Quarantine Enclosure
brand new crestie dad here! looking for feedback about everything i've done so far for reassurance and guidance.
i got a 17 gal plastic container that i sanitized with terrarium sanitizer, installed a thermostat and humidity meter, heat lamp and uvb (35w and 5%uvb-uvb is on a timer 12/12), and then lined bottom with paper towels. misted about 3 times throughout the day to keep the humidity up since my baby appears to be starting a shed when i got them. very shy, understandably.
they weigh 30g, i offered them crickets with some calcium (no d3) but i assume bc of new home and shed they're not in the mood. i left out some gecko mix and water for them in a container and when i left them once the sun went down i found the entire meal was devoured. i left a second one out just this once in case they're extremely hungry since they consumed the whole thing in only about 2 hours. they already pooped once.
if there's anything i'm missing pls let me know as im very anxious to make sure they gets the best treatment. attached is their quarantine enclosure and a picture of the baby. i only handled them to weigh them for feeding purposes. (oh yeah, their name is Bug)
