Sony Xperia J, Screen turns on but doesn't respond to touch.

Yesterday I got a new battery for an Xperia my dad used to use over a decade ago (old batt is from 2013, the new one which is used I think, is from 2017). The phone turned on just fine but the screen doesn't respond to touch. Is one of the cables for the screen maybe loose?

A few weeks ago I opened my Samsung Galaxy fame lite with a friend to find out if it needs a new battery or if the buttons were worn out (they were) and at some point I accidentally detached the cable that is for the screen to respond to touch. Later on we figured it out.

Sony Xperia J screen turns on but doesn't respond to touch.

Today I finally got new batteries for some of the older smartphones I have which couldn't turn on before. One of them is my dad's Xperia J which he had a decade ago.

Is a connector possibly loose?

I had the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy fame lite. I opened it a few weeks ago to remove the buttons (they were worn out) to see if it actually needs a new battery or not (It turned on but I still got a new batt for it). At some point while opening it, I accidentally disconnected a cable. After a few minutes I discovered it and the screen responded again.

What things does FireRed do better compared to Red?

Recently I started playing pokemon red again (With an emulator cause I didn't exist when these games came out). I first started playing in 2023. I stopped playing on that save at 28 hours and had gotten up to the soul badge. At some point, some more Red (New saves) and then I tried out a tiny bit of FireRed and took a break from that as well. And now Red again. I'm 9 hours in and I think I'm kinda losing my patience with the game a bit. I don't really know how to describe it. I think one of the factors is travel time cause I don't have the bike yet. I remember that in FireRed you can run but I don't remember anything else. The constant Pokemon encounters do annoy me but that's because I don't have repel.

That's why I want to know if it does some stuff better so that I could maybe switch to playing FireRed and maybe have a better time.
