Remember Parkline?

Parkline was a free shuttle that puttered around Griffith Park briefly from December 2019 until it died of COVID a few months later. I rode it a couple times; it was handy while it lasted, though the interminable traffic jam on Los Feliz made traveling on the south side really tedious.

Since 2023 the city's been developing a new shuttle which would connect the Universal City B line station with the park's north and east sides, wisely leaving the Observatory to the existing DASH service. With the proposed 15-minute headways (!) this would be a huge benefit for transit hikers. Fingers crossed.

This August city memo is the latest info I can find about it.
