C.ai alternatives such as spicychat, and janitor.ai are much smaller than c.ai themselves, yet, they can add these free features that c.ai paywalls, such as the lorebook feature. and, i get the classic argument of "theyre a big company with more servers which means they need more money." but alternatives like the previously mentioned have userbases of 600k+ users (telling by the chat numbers some bots have), and yet they can afford it without having to paywall a majority of their features.

and the fact that c.ai is a big company makes it even more unjustifiable to a certain extent, due to the very fact they have more users. okay, ads, alright, chase the bag, man, but then they paywall everything, even though they do probably have enough profit to pay for almost everything on a monthly basis, since 1/50 c.ai users on average probably have c.ai+, which means theres about 600k paying users, which is a profit of about 6 million every time the fee comes up, even if the number is lower than my approximaton (1/50) even if we lower it to 1/100, its still roughly 2.5 million every month, or about 28 million a year. add that up with the ads and other stuff, and you get why it isnt exactly justifiable.

and even without this annoying numbers game im playing to prove my point, saying that a big company costs more to maintain so stuff like paywalling is justified is mildly paradoxical, because: big company = more costs to maintain, BUT ALSO, big company = more profits bc its a big company. it sort of balances itself out.

i've turned into an anti because i've seen what i can only hope is the worst of the pros, maybe not all of them are like that, but the stats make me believe otherwise. for so long i've been trying to see the good and the bad in both sides as a neutral, but i just dont believe i can anymore. i decided to post on here about it instead of the anti sub because i may come off as a brigader (im not.)

i must inform antis that, someone simply sending chatGPT your art doesnt make the AI steal it automatically, even if it is pretty distasteful to "improve" someones original art like that. because AI training data just doesnt work like that exactly, AI sees shapes and colors, tied to a keyword and replicates that, and if it couldnt generate an image of a different cat easily just from 1 or 2 images of the same cat, it takes hundreds of images for an AI to form a discernable shape that is also complicated such as the cat.

HOWEVER, pros must also learn that antis dont exactly like when you give the AI their art to "improve" it. and that if people dont want their art used as training data, they shouldnt be forced to. even if it takes hundreds of images of their art for AI to replicate it, that still means that they are contributing to the training data, which they dont want to do because they dont like AI.

and that boss.. is the god tamer in the colloseum of fools. how is he foreshadowed, exactly? well, you know when you beat a trial, a pin is driven through it with a replica of your head on it's tip, well, on every single trial, theres a pin, and its not yours. its the god tamer's pin, he beat every trial and then became the champion of the trial of fools, just look at the image.

and while we're on the topic of the colloseum of fools, did you know that the heavy fool's swipe attack can be dodged without moving? its because the hitbox of the slash itself is just a bit infront of the heavy fool, not connected to it, which means that if you get close to the heavy fool while it attacks (jumpslash), it cant damage you. this has happened to me 4 times, thats how i know.

during the climax scene where, after the destruction of the particle collider, the bad guys are being stuffed into cars and the police is there, when one of the dudes is stuffed into a policecar, as it drives off, we see that the text on the side of the car says "PONY" instead of "POLICE" does that mean we should ride it and jump on it, perhaps even have some fun with uncle aaron?
