Qwen Code no longer working with local models?

A few weeks ago I set up Qwen Code and the Qwen telegram bot with Qwen 3.6 26b running locally on llama-cpp. It all worked great. Fast-forward a few weeks and now it throws API errors and neither are able to communicate with the local LLM. Is this a known issue, or a configuration issue? I'm going crazy trying and failing to find the cause in my config.

Edit: Claude Code works FWIW, but Qwen Code felt faster and more optimized when using Qwen 3.6.

Albertsons Delivery

Beware folks.

Last night I placed a $50 delivery order from Albertsons. One $5 item was out of stock, so they automatically substituted it...with a $1000 item!

Luckily I saw the substitution request, and declined it. Whew, close call. Wait, they charged it anyway?

Well, that's an obvious overcharge, right? They'll catch it before delivery this morning, right? Nope.

Good thing they have a customer service option in the app. Great, they'll refund it. Huh? IN SEVEN DAYS???

That's all their system will allow for their error, apparently.

So now I'm forced to lend a corporation $1000. I mean it is a loan when I've received no goods of that value from them, right? I hope that they understand that the interest is 100%, compounding daily, and that I apologize but my system doesn't allow me to waive interest on loans of that amount.

I realize that may seem as ridiculous as a thousand dollar overcharge on a $5 item, but systems...what can you do?

Edited to add this link because some people demanded proof.

Impossible to search: AI Audiobook Player

NOT AI-narrated audiobooks, but an AI assistant to follow along and answer questions when they arise.

Use case: I listen to audiobooks when hiking on my Android phone. Sometimes my mind drifts and I want to ask for a summary of the last 5 minutes of audio, or I might be listening to a nonfiction audiobook and want to learn more about something the author only touched upon.

Does such a thing exist? If so, it's impossible to find because of all the AI reader apps. Help appreciated.

My wife and I boarded a direct flight to Paris from Phoenix this morning. Over Greenland the plane diverted to Boston for a crew medical emergency. That's understandable, but they dumped 350 passengers here with no information except a flyer with QR codes that don't work, and the few Air France employees we've been able to find apparently only know we should "check the app" and wait until ticketing opens 8 hours from now! Terrible experience, especially knowing it took 3 and a half hours to divert here and this is the best they could do.
