looking for a kinda bougie cafe/bakery/market combo
my boyfriend is moving to LA and he's looking for a very specific type of market like the one we go to in new haven where we live now. this place is:
part bakery (high quality sourdough bread/croissants/pastries/cookies etc with locally milled flour)
part specialty groceries (fancy spices/sauces/snacks/chocolates/some produce/frozen foods; essentially brands like graza, burlap and barrel spices, jeni's ice cream, that type of vibe)
part cafe (coffee/espresso/tea/sandwiches/salads/premade meals)
part gift shop (cards/cookbooks/candles/knick-knacks).
i've done some googling but places like lazy acres, bristol farms, erewhon are too big and are more grocery store than cafe. its very cute and vintage-y inside and a fun place to just poke around. bonus points if its in west hollywood or los feliz!!

15 applications, 5 interviews, 1 offer!
got a summer internship doing cpg marketing and i'm sooo excited! i didn't apply to many internships as there weren't a ton in my area but i still managed to get 5 interviews. i did all the interviews last week and got the offer today (friday). i scheduled the round 2 interviews but since i got an offer from round 1 i didn't need to do the round 2 interviews. plus i got a $9 pay increase from last summer's internship, going from $18/hr to $27/hr!! i have really good job experience in my field on my resume despite not having graduated yet and i got referred by my professor which def boosted my chances. plus i'm 26 so i have more experience in general compared to other internship applicants who are prob 20/22 lol. i'm praying i'll find a full time job somewhat easily too after this internship.
