How do you create a narrator character that will be completely ignored by the AI?

I'm actually trying to create my own scenario where it's more like a creepy scene being played out and you direct the AI and how it will make events happen..... But you don't actually play as a character in the scenario.

To give a little more detail to help understand what I'm trying to do, well the details aren't final it would be something like the following:

Steve and Kate find an old Ouija board in his Grandma's attic, he loves it and she hates it and he convinces her to try it.

As the scenario progresses, I want various things to happen that will cause them to react, but I don't want to play as Steve or Kate, rather I want to instruct the AI as to what it should make happen but without being a part of the scenario directly.

So for example I want to be able to tell the AI to have Kate's dead mother contact her.... The AI will then play out the story for me, with me being able to add what I want to happen or push it away from certain things.

Is there a way for me to create a "playable character" like that, that is not going to be acknowledged as existing by the AI at all.

Thanks for any help.

i saw the matrix update, and was so pumped i decided to try it and resubscribed (i have done it a couple of times in the past) but the new bot behavior is SO bad. like MUCH worse than half a year ago, even!

bots frequently make up stuff that never happened, forget and reset storylines from LESS THAN THREE MESSAGES AGO, will say nonsense like "mary checks the memory seed to see how she should behave", post entire [OOC: the following happens] type messages, randomly give me advice on how i should roleplay the scenario, including telling me my request doesn't match the character behavior (something like "Mary is about to do X, but then realizes she would never do that and does Y instead, or [OOC: this character would never do that]) and tons more stuff i dont care to list, including giving me general life advice and informing me that stealing is illegal when a character did it in a chat. (thanks for letting me know!)

sure, all this stuff occasionally happened, but now its so frequent it almost never DOESN'T happen. its like constant. if it doesn't happen for a few messages, i get my hopes up then BAM it's right back.

i am SO upset i spent money on a month of plus to encounter this garbage.

i genuinely feel all current plus subs should get a free month.
