Question about headache
Hi!
Sort of embarrassing but really curious.
I was in a car accident about a month ago. Rear-ended. Wasn’t super bad but I’ve been having headaches since. Finally I got transferred to this concussion specialist who did some tests on Thursday and said it’s likely I have a mild concussion. The only symptoms I’ve had so far are headaches (and the usual whiplash, which I’m treating with physio and massage therapy).
Last night I went to bed no problem. This morning I woke up and felt fine so my partner and I started fooling around. I had a massive orgasm but an awful headache right after. Just felt all my neck muscles tightening and a lot of pressure on my head. I was able to get up and walk without a problem, balance not a problem, no dizziness or anything. Just the headache. I went to the fridge and got out an ice pack. Shortly after very mild nausea started. Extremely mild but still the first time I’ve had any nausea. I’m able to drink and eat without a problem, walking is fine, no dizziness or double vision or anything. I called a friend who is a doctor and told her if I should go to the hospital and she said no, it’s likely the concussion and whiplash and gave me some things to watch out for.
My question is…is it normal to get that headache after an orgasm? I’ve been googling orgasm and concussion but nothing directly comes up. I didn’t tell my doctor friend because it’s a bit TMI. Just wondering if it’s only related to that or if it’s something else that I should keep a closer eye on.
