Would anyone here be interested in participating in a ttrpg accesibilty charity bundle?

I'd like to make this post a bit more personalized to this subreddit... but my fingers kind of messed up and I can't type super well 😅. I have permission from the mods to post though! And don't hesitate to ask questions, I will answer them!

Hello I run an RPG book club over at r/myrpg, and I'm putting together a charity RPG itch.io bundle with donations going to DOTS RPG project, a charity that foster's accessibility in role-playing games through various projects including creating and distributing Braille based dice.

The idea is not only is this a chance to support a charity, but boost all the projects participating in the bundle by creating a collection of oft overlooked games!

Submissions are open till May 22 (not a lot of time left now 😬 sorry I'm posting here a bit late) and the pay what you want bundle will launch on June 24.

All projects including work in progress and free games are welcome, but no more than two submissions per creator, no more than 50 contributors total, and some may be removed If there is a major flaw in mechanics or many flaws in terms of presentation. This will be based on my opinion, and thus pretty subjective, but I think a more limited bundle with a bit of quality control just in case could make people more willing to check out a indie/amateur bundle that also contains developing projects. This means if your project is paid, I need to be sent a free copy to look it over once you submit.

The overall number of submissions may be limited as well, as I'm hoping a midsized bundle full of unique creative independent projects that have been vetted to ensure they are reasonably understandable when reading through stands the biggest chance of the submissions in the bundle actually being played.

After submissions close Each submission must be approved by the creator in order to transfer to the bundle so please provide a way of contacting you if you do not check your itch.io associated email frequently. Here is a link to the jam https://itch.io/jam/myrpg-bookclub-jam

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and please keep an eye out for the bundle when it launches on the 24th! Even if you don't plan to submit or donate, there are a lot of really cool games that I personally recommend to pick up and play, all with creators that would be ecstatic to have more game masters and or players!

EDIT: huh, looks like this wasn't very well received. Dunno what's up but sorry about that!

Ever wanted to play larger than life gunslingers crossing paths, clashing ideals or trading jabs, then trading bullets in life or death draws where luck, skill, and drama have a table of your friends on the edge of their seats?

Where whoever rolls the quickest, that stops and fires first, is as important as the number that comes up? Where how consistently you act adds to your characters legend win or lose, and the biggest legend of the west gets to decide how the story of you and your rivals lives really went?

Well at the very least I hope you do now! This Town Ain't Big Enough has all of these features and more! https://jobclassttrpg.itch.io/this-town-aint-big-enough

The main resolution mechanic involves players setting up to lines or markers, rolling dice past them after a third counts down, and whoever's stops first shoot first! Early rollers are shot by the ref and those that miss a line miss their shot! For an added level of depth, the player that rolls higher shoots better, killing if they strike first and wounding if their opponent hit them already, throwing off their aim.

Plenty of optional rules let you really tweak this mechanic. From adding accessibility by letting an incline roll for players, to using playing cards instead of dice, to simplifying or deepening the game by options like making all shots kill and who ever stops first an immediate winner, or adding risk reward to "cheat" shots.

Players vote on whether the slain slinger is a white, brown or black hat, glory growing the more the same story is told, and play continues until all singers have fallen or retired!

The first page (first two if using a printed booklet) is enough to play the game alone, and the cover has a 24 word version if you want to really streamline things, but additional guidance on role-play and resources like a character motivation table add even more goodies!

Of course it's not all roses. Currently the book has no original art, and the voting rules are a bit underdeveloped (theres a simplified version after the main voting rules that might honestly be better, give it a look), and thats only the stuff I know about. Thats why the game is available for free! Theres an option to donate if you want to, but no need for it, and ultimately I appreciate reading through or playing the game just as much!

Feel free to ask any questions!
