Rant? why are there no resources! what is that!

Idk if this is allowed but i just kind of need to rant? I am not diagnosed but trying to get a diagnosis (however the lack of resources in my state, and doctors who have never even heard of hEDs is concerning and i feel like i’m just going in circles. i have printed of a diagnostic sheet from the ed society website and based on that i have it, and can be diagnosed i just need someone to officially do it 🙃) I am a 23 year old women, and have had symptoms all my life and it’s pretty much the most textbook hEDs that it’s driving me insane. I made a notes thing in my phone of all the symptoms I have that are from the Ehler danlos website and it’s like why am i just learning about this and why has all the doctors i’ve seen never said a THING to me? i’ve had so much dental work, so much tests done on my knees, my shoulders, my neck, and that’s just touching the bottom of the barrel. It all together really just looks like a textbook hEDs patient and yeah i get some doctors like my dentist may not have the full picture; but my primary care? all the ER doctors i went to for heart palpitations and pain in my joints? i feel like im going crazy and im spiraling about this because the more i research the more that just makes sense if all the issues i’ve dealt with, even things i’ve just tried to ignore instead of going to the doctor because i knew they were just going to say it was anxiety or i need to exercise. and then the amount of resources readily accessible for hEDs patients! there’s like nothing! what is that! like there’s obviously treatment plans and people who have expertise in it but unless you live in like a big city your screwed, i live in the midwest where are the resources? i can’t find anyone who wants to help me without having to travel out of state. idk that’s just the rant for the day i guess🙃i’m so stressed

Atrophic scarring? regular scarring? i’m confused (TW: SH scars)

TW for sensitive matter because of SH scars so please proceed with caution! i know some of these are like horrible photos but i couldn’t figure out how to make them more seen on a camera? the first two are stretch marks if that matters. i already meet the criteria for a hEDs diagnosis but im just trying to figure out if i have this too and i’ve looked at so many scar photos and i literally cannot tell a difference

is he trying to crow?

I have four other silkies and none make this noise like what is this? i have already suspected this one is a rooster because his comb has been RED since 3 weeks old but he recently started making these noises. he’s about 7 weeks old

i posted a few weeks ago but didn’t have the voice video because she/he hadn’t gotten their adult voice yet. what are we thinking? sometimes there’s like a proper quack and sometimes it’s like raspy like a drake so i can’t really tell (the black and white duck)
