is this helmet too big? I'm a brand new rider and this is a Shoei RF-SR. I bought it at cycle gear 3 weeks ago and the employee there fitted me into this 2XL. I was barely even able to get the single XL on and when I did I was chewing on the inside of my cheeks it was so tight. My head measures just over 23 in and according to Shoei, that puts me at the bottom end of an XL. I'm concerned by the amount of head movement though.

Brand New Rider Here! I picked up this Kawasaki KZ440B at the beginning of March and have spent the last few weeks getting it road worthy. I rebuilt the carbs, cleaned out the tank, and replaced the shocks. I've just been taking it around the block recently and it has been loads of fun :)
