Is this a specific thing of the Norlin era? Curious to hear if anyone has more context about this.

Recently got the 1974 custom 20th anniversary and it feels and plays amazing, it’s a « fretless wonder » so it takes some time getting used to.

The 2017 Standard High Performance has one of the most beautiful top I’ve ever seen, removing the pickguard was a no brainer. So lucky its mine! I had the g-force tuners replaced with Grover’s.
