I have a nice wooden top dining table but I’m in the era with kids where I need to protect it. I’m looking for a tablecloth that is wipeable (liquid beading up on the surface would be ideal), machine washable, not too wrinkly and not-your-great-grandma’s fabric design. I found these Geometry ones but they aren’t for sale in stores near me to get a feel for the fabric. I’m considering oilcloth and laminated cotton as well. Any thoughts and something that will look nice and be effective and keeping stains and fork tines from ruining my wood? Aesthetic I’m going for is more modern and clean.
