Grape soda scent again, only at night

Phal. wilsonii Rolfe blooms, sadly only one bud. I have her out of my balcony. Last month the weather has changed from heaven to hell, most buds died. But I’m happy it still got one bud blooming. Every night pass 8:30, there’s sweet grape soda scent from her.

Stereochilus brevirachis in bloom!

I got two of them, but the other one’s buds didn’t make it to bloom, the temperature is one day in summer and one day in winter recently. So I’m excited to see they finally in bloom. Hopefully there would be more flower next year!

Also it is interesting to see how the tongue of them really look like human tongue, especially from a side view.

No scent, it is quiet and cute!

New mini collections

The first one already formed a bud, super tiny bud. It is an original from Taiwan, Haraella retrocalla. A species with very strong and pleasant scent. This guy in my hand is a matured plant, it is so tiny and cute.

Got them from a friend. The tiniest Bulbo bloom I got.

The Bulbo is purple, not he green ones. I thought they were Bulbophyllum jingdongense, but the flowers don’t look alike.

My friend got this one blooming but we don’t know what this is, we think it could be some kind of vanda. If anyone knows this guy or some thoughts, please comment.

Thank you❤️

I tried to smell it every night, it has no scent the first two days. And last night, boom, very bright grape soda scent came out.

I love how they look so comfortable on barks! I planted 2 in the central hole which is formed naturally on the bark, so they don’t need to be tied. And the other two, I put them just right to fill the hollow.
