Had to liquidate TFSA for an emergency, when can I put the money back?

I'm in the middle of a major home renovation, and my mortgage application process took way longer than expected.

I started the process 3 months before I needed the money, but the bank took almost 5 months from first meeting to actually getting the cash. It was a huge stress.

Anyways I had construction payments to make, and so I withdrew $80,000 from my TFSA to keep the project going.

Now that I have access to the money, I want to use the mortgage to put that money back in my account.

According the CRA, my 2025 contribution room is $59,000. So if I understand correctly, I can put $59k right away, and another $80,000 in room will appear on Jan 1st 2027, is that correct?

Thanks.

Got 1.5" of closed cell on my basement walls, but there is extra space available, can I fill it with anything?

The framing is 2x3s placed an inch away from the foundation wall, I think they did a good job, but there's still a decent gap until the drywall.

I was thinking of buying 3.5x16 batt insulation, Ripping it to half thickness and placing it in the cavities before we close up the walls.

Worth doing?

Edit: there is R15 rigid insulation installed on the outside of the foundation walls.

I have a $20,000 kitchen plan lined up and ready to go, but My house is under construction and still a few weeks away from assembly of the kitchen. For now there is no room in the house to keep the packages.

However the Ikea family sale ends may 6th and I want to take advantage of it.

Would not be possible to finalize the order, pay for it and not pickup?

My plan B is for my contractor to pick up the kitchen and store it in their own warehouse, but that's a lot of unnecessary work.

We purchased a really nice 36" vanity in our 8x5 bathroom, and I think we may have made a mistake,

The space has a large corner next to where the toilet will be, and i'm unsure if theres enough clearance room. The corner is 14" deep and another 4 inches before we hit the walk in shower. This means the toilet has between 24" and 28" of total space.

New build extension, so plumbing isn't installed yet.

Question is, can we fit the vanity in this space, or should we return it for a 32" model?
