midterms are coming up, and the primary for governor (at least in california) are nearing, and i'm freaking out. i'm glad to see a democrat is gaining traction, but i'm terribly worried--and quite frankly terrified--that the primary will result in two republicans. i would love to see optimistic takes on this, if there are any.
