From Britain's Fabulous Butt Brothers, a very relaxed and regal lion on my 1811 eighteen-pence silver token issued by Edward and Francis Butt, prominent tailors and local politicians from Stamford in Lincolnshire, Britain (Dalton 16). Also featuring my favorite denticles!

While not as numerous as ship-related Conders, there are easily over a dozen types featuring a nautical theme in the 1811-1820 series of British copper and silver tokens that circulated during a drastic shortage of "official" Regal coinage. One of my higher-grade examples is this 1811 halfpenny issued by the Bristol Patent Sheathing Nail Manufactory of Somersetshire.

Sheathing nails were used in shipbuilding to fasten overlapping protective sheets of copper over a ship's hull below the waterline.
