I am located in Texas, near Tyler. I have been split up from the father of my child for several months. We were never married. We never set up official payments, but he consistently pays me $600 twice a month as child support. He would probably have to pay more if we went off 20% of his income but I’ve just never pushed that. I am wanting to buy a house and the lender I have spoken with says they need these payments set up through the Texas AOG in order to consider them as income. What is the quickest way to get these set up if my ex is agreeable with going through the AOG?
