I was trying to plug my SM58 directly into the Pigtronix Infinity Looper 1 with a XLR/1/4” cable and it was super quiet and noisy. I was surprised that the looper couldnt boost a mic level input enough to be usable.

Then I had a brain blast. I grabbed my Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz, and put it on the boost mode. plugged the mic into the SF300 and out into the looper. It works wonderfully as a clean loud preamp for a microphone. Who woulda guessed!!

Joke all you want about Hasan’s youtube voice, but I absolutely love the documentary.

My favorite Hasan content as of late is Hasan speaking to regular people, doing on the street interviews, and collaborating with people like Brace, Mero, Dropsite, etc.

It’s just so much more compelling than hearing him talk about 24 hr news cycle or reactions to online drama, insane conservatives etc. I get that it’s not feasible to always be traveling or having guests, but man does it feel important when he does this kind of stuff
