Slipping D-Fuse Seatpost
Hi all!
I have recently purchased a brand new Giant Revolt Advanced Pro 1 and noticed that on longer journeys the seatpost slips. I cycled 100k on Saturday and it slipped just under 10mm, so I stripped it out and followed the official instructions from Giant’s website applying grease to the inside of the wedge and carbon assembly paste on the recommended parts. Took it out for a 50k ride on Monday and guess what? Yep, it slipped again roughly 5/6mm. It’s so frustrating considering the price I paid for the bike. I raised a warranty claim with Giant and I’m awaiting a resolution. Anything I can do in the meantime to enjoy the bike as not cycling is not an option.
