Oatmeal raisin and oatmeal chocolate chip

Made my mom some of her favorite cookies for mothers day.

My brother stole one before I could take a picture. And this is only about half the dough made into cookies.

The recipe I used was a pretty heavily modified version of https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/oatmeal-chocolate-chip-cookies/#tasty-recipes-67799

I just split the dough in half before adding chocolate chips and added raisins to half of it.

We had some decaf coffee with them, they were delicious.

Mothers day 5k with mom

Nearly 1000 people showed up, by far the largest race I’ve run. They were supposed to have mimosas but they ran out of champagne before we got any, so we stopped at a little bar near the park that was handing out free waters and juice. We planned on getting mimosas but the bartender convinced us to share a vodka redbull slushie instead.

I haven’t run since a 5k I did in January, I signed up for this the day of, because my mom wanted someone to run it with. This was her first race that she was able to run the entire time without stopping. My time was only a few minutes quicker than hers but she didn’t hurt herself like I did so I would say she definitely ran a better 5k than me.

I pulled my quad pretty bad a few months ago, and I’m just finally feeling comfortable enough to hop back up on the slackline

Grew my own sprouts for the first time(broccoli, alfalfa, and mung beans) the pickles are wickles and they made this the perfect sweet and spicy snack before bed.

I’ve got broccoli on the top, then clover, then mung bean, and the bottom one is a mix of peas, lentils, and adzuki beans.
