Another darn newbie tech question.....

As I read down and search this sub, I see lots of people like me coming to ask setup questions. Sorry all, and thanks for your patience.

My new AtGames Micro came and I definitely want to set up OTG. Looks like I shouldn't have any issue setting up Pinball FX, just gotta wait for a new USB-A to A cable to arrive. With a box full of cables, I was surprised to learn that was one I do not have.

But, I'm concerned about the Baller Installer after both reading the Wiki and watching the support vids. With AtGames no longer making the VIBS board, I may never get to use the backglass unless I can somehow find a board for the Micro. I'm not giving up yet, but I can't wait to eventually find one, so going at it without. On top of that, the graphics card in my PC has 4 outputs so I'm going to just use a different output for the main screen without disconnecting it to my TV. I haven't found anyone else doing that in the walkthroughs. Would that just mean I can set my Windows 11 output to monitor 2 and make monitor 2 the main output for Baller? Without VIBS, it is the only output I'll be able to use.

Next, there's a bunch of caveats in Baller that give me hesitation. They said get everything set up first. No VIBS now, but maybe hopefully VIBS later. Do I wipe and reinitialize to do that? Additionally, I am not 100% certain I want to use my gaming PC for this or just get a small used micro PC to run VPX. As an intermediary, I have a single dedicated drive I've named PINBALL to hold the whole thing. If I change PC's, or even add said VIBS board, would I remove the tables/ROMS and just reinitialize & reinstall and then readd what I've already got? I don't want to spend hours setting up only to redo the same hours to do it again.

Last, will the tables requiring ROMS run without Backglass? No VIBS, nothing but table. Do I still need the associated files even without the ability to display them?

Thanks. Hopefully this will be my last tech support for this and I can just play!

STECS - Space or Modern

Going crazy trying to decide. Selling my WinWing Ursa Minor L which was a BAAAAAD choice for me (although the right is decent) and getting a STECS, which I would have done the first time except when I was buying the whole tariff thing in the US was just getting started.

I primarily have 2 games I care about. Il-2 and Elite Dangerous. One space, one flight. I am knocking my head about trying to decide which STECS would be better for both games. I hear good things about the modern in space games, and good things about the space in modern games. Does anyone else have my dilemma? How did you solve it?
