OK I'm considering buying an E60 M5 for that sweet v10...looking at a couple 2006s for $45-50k

Talk me into or out of it. Pros/cons?

I've read through a bunch of posts here, but I wanted to consolidate some advice.

I'm looking to stay under 100k and probably a gts or higher if possible.

What are the major questions I should be asking the dealers when I'm sorting through available inventory?

Are there any companies people use for PPI? My last car was CPO from another brand and the dealer screwed me hard. Convinced me no PPI needed as the CPO inspection covers it all and is managed by the brand not the dealer. Total lie.

I've read to get the Gen 2 (2025 MY) but I think that's going to push available models above my price range. Is there something that makes a 22-24 MY less reliable?

Any mandatory add ons that I should be looking for?
