Corporations are filled with incompetent sociopaths desperately trying to remain undiscovered by talent.

I'm currently an executive--but have no hiring or firing ability--at a once-successful company, and it's the bane of my existence. The incompetence is everywhere. In an effort to go somewhere where leadership sets a competent path and relies on leaders to execute, I've interviewed with several competitors, and it's the same story... leadership who have no idea what they're doing or why, barely understand their product, don't have any understanding of their end users nor GTM strategies... I'm absolutely dumbfounded that this is the world in which we live. Everyone desperately trying to protect their jobs and from being found out...
