Hi everyone,
I’m considering buying a Kawai CN201 as an upgrade from my Arius YDP142, and the mechanical key noise is my biggest reason. I play late at night with headphones in a small flat so I need something quiet and without the obnoxious thump. My Arius is old and really bad for it.

From what I’ve read the RHIII is supposed to be one of the quietest ones (felt cushions, springless hammer return etc) but I’d love to hear from actual owners.

If you own one of these pianos, could you let me know how loud the key thump is, and if it gets louder over time?
