Pyxis handle arrived - One year later…. Should I keep it?

Pyxis handle arrived - One year later…. Should I keep it?

I ordered this handle over a year ago and it finally arrived. I already bought the Portkeys Key Grip wooden handle with Bluetooth control, so I don’t really need this and can easily return as it’s still sealed.

My only thought is that perhaps this Pyxis handle can make a stripped down 12K look more consumer-ish, in case I need to steal a shot sometime.

Any thoughts about this handle before i open it? I realize it’s not a huge investment.

Swingers: Last night’s 35mm screening with director Doug Liman, producer and music supervisor

What an incredible evening. We saw a nice 35mm print of the film and then a discussion with the team behind the film. I took a younger associate that works on my film projects, who never saw the film and he absolutely loved it.

The team relayed how no one wanted to finance the film and the two years of doing public table reads looking for investors, with no luck.

After eventually getting $275k in private investment, they made the film and had to show it to Spielberg to get approval for the Jaws theme music, since Steven wasn’t giving approvals due to so many parodying the film. Now only was Steven so impressed he gave the approval, but then hired Vince Vaughn for Jurassic Park.

The camera was noisy and Liman had his jacket and comforter wrapped around the camera for the dialog scenes.

We were able to speak with the director and producer afterwards, which was nice as many of these events you can’t speak with them afterwards.

[Landlord-US-NY] tenant refuses to pay rent after boiler repaired

We’ve had a bad run with an on demand boiler for heat and hot water. I’ve never ignored the situation and tried to get repair companies in asap. I ended up trying 4 different HVAC companies first to repair the unit, then replace it. However replaced unit failed after 9 weeks and I had to have another company come in completely reinstall.

Tenant was provided 3 full size electric heaters, but there was no hot water for about 2 weeks, then 2 months later same thing while the system was being fully reinstalled (we kept the brand new boiler, just replaced all the piping and filters running to it)

The first time it boiler broke, tenant asked for an $800 discount on $5K rent, then paid.

Second time it broke the tenant didn’t pay rent and now that everything is working, hasn’t paid for that month or this month. I’ve offered the same $800 discount but they still haven’t paid.

While I understand it’s crappy to live without hot water, I did everything I could to get it working asap, however even the best HVAC companies here are very busy and took longer to do the work than they originally told me.

I run a niche channel for high end audio. People have replied that my series called “the holy grail of electrostatic speakers” is clickbait. I didn’t proclaim them the holy grail, but rather an electronics designer who doesn’t make speakers, dubbed them the title after seeing their specifications and fixing the problems other speakers of that type have.

Does the guy have a point or is he just butt hurt that his speakers aren’t anyone’s holy grail?
